GOBELINS Summer school 2009 in Paris
Character Animation
From July 2nd to July 16th, 2010
France has had a great deal of experience in the art of animation, having played an instrumental role in its invention: Emile Reynaud (in 1892) and Emile Cohl (in 1908) were important pioneers in animation filmmaking.
Continuing this legacy, GOBELINS, l’école de l’image, based in Paris, has been for more than thirty years the privileged partner of animation artists and studios, even beyond the French borders, thanks to a learning program preparing young artists for all the professions involved in animation filmmaking.
Today GOBELINS organises an international summer school in Paris devoted to a course about animation films. The 2010 program will focus on character animation.
