This international summer school is organizing to enable students and professionals from around the world to study in Hong-Kong the spectific characteristics and know-how of character animation and design as it is taught at GOBELINS Paris.

The Hong-Kong Design Institute, a leading talents provider of design education in the region and committed to nurturing design talents, will host this program on its awards-winning new campus in the Tiu Keng Lenf district of Hong-Kong with direct access by MTR.

This 2012 program will be built around two master classes, one devoted to character design and one to character animation (quality of movment and performance), and given by GOBELINS teachers who are active professionals in world renowned animation studios. These master classes will include workshop activities with hands on practice of both disciplines.

Classes are given in English with no translation.

At the end of the two-week course "Character Animation Design", participants will receive an official certificate from Hong-Kong Design Institute and GOBELINS, l'école de l'image with course description.
